Everything people ask before they let it answer.
If your question is not here, ask it directly. We would rather tell you this is not a fit than sell you something that disappoints on call number four.
How it behaves on a call.
Does it sound like a robot?
No. It speaks with natural pacing, it lets people finish, and it does not read a script out loud. Play the call on the home page and judge for yourself.
Does it pretend to be a person?
Never. If a caller asks, it says plainly that it is a digital assistant for your company. Lying about that is the fastest way to lose the customer you just answered.
What happens if it does not understand?
It says so and offers two ways out: transfer to a person, or take a message and read the details back. It never invents an answer to keep the conversation smooth.
Can it handle an angry caller?
It stays calm and hands over. A complaint belongs with a person, and the agent does not try to talk anybody down.
Which languages?
Dutch and English, following whichever the caller opens with. Other languages are possible but we would want to test them with you first.
Can it recognise regular customers?
Yes, by phone number, so it already has the address and does not ask a maintenance customer everything from scratch.
The calls that cannot go wrong.
How does it know something is urgent?
By asking the two or three questions that actually settle it for your trade, not by judging tone of voice. Water still running, gas smell, smoke, no heat with vulnerable people in the house. Those are fixed rules, agreed with you.
What if it gets it wrong?
It is deliberately set to be over cautious. Doubt means transfer. A transferred call that turned out not to be urgent costs you a minute; the reverse costs you a customer.
How does the transfer work?
It calls your on-call number, tells you in one sentence what is going on, and then connects the caller. You are never handed a call cold.
What if nobody picks up the transfer?
It falls back to the next number on your list, and if nobody answers there it takes a full message and tells the caller honestly when they can expect a call back.
What it takes to get started.
How long does it take?
Two to five working days for the standard setup, including a round of adjustments after you have tested it yourself.
Do I need a new number?
No. You keep your number and forward it, always or only when you do not answer within a set number of rings.
What do you need from me?
Your services, working area, opening hours, duty roster, what counts as an emergency, and where appointments should land. An hour of your time, roughly.
Can I change things afterwards?
Yes, and changes to hours, duty roster, services or working area are not billed extra.
Can I switch it off temporarily?
Forwarding is yours. Turn it off and your phone behaves exactly as it does today.
The serious questions.
What happens to the recordings?
Transcripts are kept, audio only if you want it, and both are deleted on a schedule you set. Callers are told they are speaking to a digital assistant.
Is this GDPR compliant?
The setup is built for it: a processing agreement, data stored in the EU, deletion terms you control, and no reselling of caller data ever.
What if your service fails?
Forwarding falls back to your own phone or voicemail, which is exactly where you are today. Our failure cannot be worse than not having us.
Can two people call at once?
Yes, any number of them. There is no busy tone and no queue.
What it costs and what it does not.
What does it cost?
From EUR 99 a month including 250 call minutes, up to EUR 249 for 1000 minutes, with tailored pricing for multiple locations. Setup is EUR 450 once, and included on the Grow plan.
Is there a contract term?
No, you cancel at the end of any month.
What if nobody calls this month?
You pay the monthly fee only. Unused minutes do not roll over, because the fee pays for the agent being ready.
When does it not pay for itself?
If you answer nearly every call yourself and rarely work outside hours, this is not worth it for you, and we will say so.
Ask the question that is not on this page.
We answer honestly, including when the honest answer is that Ringaide is not the right fit for your situation.
- A straight answer, not a sales call
- A working agent to test if it is a fit
- No obligation
