Ringaide is made by a small team that builds software for service businesses. This product came out of the same complaint from every direction: the work is fine, the phone is the problem.
The phone is the one part of the business nobody has time to fix.
Every service business we spoke to had the same shape of problem. Work arrives by phone, the phone rings while both hands are busy, and everybody has quietly accepted losing a share of the calls. Not because the business is badly run, but because there is no good answer that fits between voicemail and hiring someone.
The technology to close that gap only became genuinely good enough recently. Speech that does not sound like a robot, understanding that survives an accent and a noisy van, and a fast enough response that people do not hang up. That is what changed, and it is why this exists now rather than five years ago.
Small, direct, and honest about limits.
You will not go through a call centre to reach us. The person who builds your agent is the person you speak to when you want something changed.
We would rather turn down a customer than deliver something that disappoints. If your calls are mostly complex advice, or you already answer nearly everything yourself, we will tell you that this is not worth your money.

We started in the Netherlands, where the trade language and the way people describe a problem on the phone are specific enough that a generic English agent simply does not work well.
The same product runs in English for the same trades, and an agent can switch between the two depending on how the caller opens.
